A Happy Ending for Nino! |
|
Nino has finally found his loving, forever home! His
new owner writes,
"We have adopted Nino, from the SPCA of the TRIAD in
Greensboro NC. I just want you to know, you have done a
wonderful job with him. We work with him everyday to keep
him sharp! We have only had him for 2 1/2 weeks, but we are
just in love with him. I just wanted you to know, he has a
mommy/daddy/10 year old brother/13 year old sister/6 year
old kitty cat!! Thank you for the time & effort your team
spent with him. He is a smart dog, and we are so happy with
him. Keep up all of the good work,..." |

And for Shelby! |
|
Her new owner writes,
"I believe an SPCA volunteer talked with my 11-year-old
last night regarding our new dog, Shelby. According to my
husband, my daughter answered all the questions so
"adult-like", the volunteer probably soon realized that
Shelby isn't going anywhere! ha! (Our daughter thinks the
world of Shelby!)
Shelby is doing great and was a perfect choice for my
husband. He plays with her every day, and I take her for
walks when the weather isn't too hot. She makes a great
workout dog, considering she has so much energy -- like most
cattle dogs! Although Shelby can't leap up into
the bed of the truck without some assistance, I think her
favorite thing is to go for a ride with "daddy-man" on the
farm. I am amazed at how loyal she is. She
wants to be where we are at all times.
I hope to make it to the Dogs Behind Bars graduation this
week to see how the dogs are trained, and to pick up a few
tips since we didn't get to attend Shelby's graduation.
Thanks again for helping us choose the right dog. Shelby is
a perfect fit for us!" |
