CHLOE
This sweet, cuddly, loving young female was dropped
off at the Randolph Animal Shelter because her
family lived in a condo and decided they could not
keep her. During her stay at the shelter, it was
overflowing with animals and Chloe was on the
schedule to be euthanized. She had an angel looking
over her, Dara, who could not allow this to happen
and gave this sweet young girl a second chance.
Dara asked that Chloe be put in the prison program
to prepare her for adoption. Chloe delights in
people and loves other dogs. She is a young girl
with energy and will need an active family and a
fenced yard. Chloe is waiting for her own special
person to adopt her and take her to her forever home
from graduation on July 22. Call SPCA today and
make an appointment to see Chloe.

BENNY
Life has not been easy for Benny. His family
moved away and left Benny tied to a tree. A
call from a social worker brought the SPCA to
Benny’s rescue. To our surprise, Benny had his
friend Joone, a female cat companion by his side.
Both were brought back to the SPCA shelter.
There are no cats allowed in the prison
program. Joone stayed at SPCA and
Benny was sent to prison. Benny loves people
and gets along well with Chloe and Cessna, his
fellow trainees in A New Leash on Life. Benny
is working hard every day learning his basic
obedience skills preparing to become a
well-behaved canine family member and someone’s best
friend. Of course, his new family can also own
cats and Benny would suggest that cat being Joone.
Benny will be available for adoption July 22.

TANK
This alert, intelligent, good natured, agile guy was
found abandoned and wandering beside a highway. A good Samaritan brought him to
the SPCA.
With the body of a working dog, his agility and
being a willing, quick learner, Tank was a perfect
candidate to be a part of the 8 weeks of basic
obedience training in A New Leash on Life. Tank
learned obedience skills, trust, loyalty and love
with his inmate trainer Tim.
Tank completed his basic obedience training, was
adopted and went home with his new family in
December.
PROBLEM was Tank did not understand that he had to
get along with the family cat. Unfortunately, Tank
was returned to SPCA and the family cat remained
with the family.
Tank is back with his prison family now where he is
refreshing his basic obedience skills preparing to
go to his FOREVER HOME (preferably no cats).
Tank will be available for adoption July 22.
